An automatic face log collection method for video sequence is proposed in this paper. Face quality assessment is applied to the faces obtained by a face detector to collect the faces with frontal pose and high quality. This paper introduces several robust quality features and selects the optimized weights to fuse the multiple features. Face log is constructed by faces which are selected automatically. The experimental results show that our algorithm can improve the robustness for face sequences which contain faces with different size.
