Camouflage Effect Evaluation is an important procedure of digital camouflage pattern design, which is helpful to improve objectivity and effectiveness of camouflage design. Based on classical ITTI model, this paper proposes a new method to calculate image saliency, where the map of color difference is integrated into early visual features. Then, we use this saliency map to evaluate effect of camouflage design. Experimental results demonstrate that saliency map is a novel and effective approach to evaluate camouflage design.
