Piracy of smartphone Apps has been growing corresponding to the growth of the App market. The primary cause of piracy is illegal upload and download from web-based file sharing services. In this paper, we propose a filtering system and a similarity comparison scheme based on the App feature information such as image resources, permissions, and directory structures of the APK which is the installation file of an Android App. The experiments show our proposal is applicable for filtering system to stop illegal distribution of Apps.
