Abstract

In this paper, we present a new graph-theoretic approach to modeling user activity in a wide range of information security monitoring tasks. We introduce a notion of a generalized hypergraph that allows direct and holistic representation of complex relationships and context-dependent communications between actors and groups of actors in a network.
