This is the first challenge and workshop with a focus on methods, data and challenges related to emotion recognition in real-world conditions. This event comprises of a grand challenge and workshop papers around the emotion recognition in the wild theme. The call for papers attracted 29 team registrations. The workshop has an invited paper from an industry expert Real Eyes, which discusses the challenges from an expert perspective. Along with the industrial track papers there are 2 more workshop papers. We also encourage attendees to attend the keynote and invited talk presentations.
