Increasing volumes of paper based evidence documentation and its preparation is creating a growing need for an IT solution in Australian courtrooms. This paper discusses the findings of a study where members of the Australian judiciary, including judges, barristers, lawyers, court administrators, law academics and members of the general public, were introduced to an electronic evidence presentation system in a formal court environment.
