Abstract

We propose a method of designing database tables from the viewpoint of transactions. Business systems run many transactions because of the request from many people or machines, such as customers and other computer systems. The transaction is usually defined for each request, though the system has to meet all the transaction. We propose a method to define the database table for the whole system from the collection of each transaction. We transform the state diagrams of each transaction to the diagram which defines steps in the transaction and extract the database table from the step information
