Abstract

Fuzzy data are fuzzy sets reflecting each the state of a ''something'' under investigation. The present approach considers the case that a fuzzy datum can be derived from or represented by a grey-tone picture and is to be used for pattern recognition as, e.g., evaluation of functional relationships. Some case studies are sketched.
