Abstract

Input-output models are subject to uncertainty. If these models are solved without regard to theeffects of the uncertainty the solutions canbe substantially in error. Interval arithmetic offersa means by which theeffects of this uncertainty can be assessed. They alsooffer a means of evaluating changes in the technicalcoefficients and a means of determining inverseimportant coefficients.
