Abstract

A tool has been designed under Windows 3.1, which converts a 'C' software to its abridged version that lists program characteristics of interest to the metric researchers. These characteristics may be operators, operands lists, their frequency of occurrences, number of terminators, different types of control structures, internal and external variables, etc. This information may be useful for the researchers but prevents the reconstruction of the original source code.
