Abstract

This paper introduces a model based formal design language aimed at supporting the practical use of rigorous methods within an industrial framework. The language consists of a core that is tailored to suit particular implementation languages, enabling the syntax and semantics of design and implementation languages to be matched in the design language. Particular features of the design language are described, a version of the language tailored for Ada is outlined, and current work with the language is described.
