Abstract

An automatic algorithm is presented for theeye tracking within face image sequences. It is basedon the property of local Gabor filters to efficientlydetermine the location of eyes in face images. Theproposed algorithm is implemented by a competitiveneural network, that locates and tracks the eyes in areliable manner as shown by experimental results.
