Abstract

In this article, we propose a fast black run rotation algorithm. We rotate an image efficiently by extracting the two end points of black runs and adopting a line drawing algorithm. We could achieve more than twice the speed-up compared with the other rotation methods and successfully eliminate the holes existing on a rotated plane by using the run breakdown method.
