Abstract

An analytic signal, observedover an interval of T seconds, is decomposed intoa Minimum Phase (AM) and an All-Phase (FM) signal. The former‘slog-envelope and phase form a Hilbert transform pair while thelatter has positive definite instantaneous frequency (IF). AnAM-FM demodulator algorithm to achieve the above decompositionis proposed.
