Abstract

This paper describes a graphically based programming system for simulation models of systems representable as generalized queueing network models. The model and program development system substantially enhances the capabilities of automating the development process of current graphically-oriented systems. The enhancement includes representations of virtual devices in the model formulation process and use of graphically specified programs as the user visible representation of an executable simulation model.
