Abstract

As part of a general project to build an experimental evaluation environment for object-oriented simulation, several tools have been developed. This paper first presents a client-server approach to simulation within the framework of the Smalltalk-801 programming system. This basis is then extended to describe a distributed simulation scheme called timeLock.
