Abstract

Classification is important to intelligent system. many expert systems are based on (Heuristic) Classification Model. The pre-knowledge (i.e. pre-classification of problem types considered and corresponding solutions) is put into Classification Model in advance. how to acquire the pre-knowledge? One kind of techniques which can be used to solve this problem is the Clustering Techniques.The contribution of this paper are: reviewing simply some clustering techniques; putting forward the idea of theoretical clustering; giving an implementation scheme of the theoretical clustering.Theoretical clustering is developing on the base of conceptual clustering, but it has more practical utility and higher efficiency.
