Abstract

We briefly present a description of an on-going work in applying a combined IR-CBR approach to legal information processing in bankruptcy law. Our underlying model is based on how lawyers do Legal Research as part of the Legal Reasoning process. In particular we suggest an IR technique derived from our assumption and based on actual statute text rather than case documents' text.
