Abstract

This paper proposes an addition to the Ada Programming Language which will allow a set of values to be passed as discriminant values when a task object is created. This feature will be useful to avoid an additional task entry call following task activation for some applications. Syntax and semantic rules are presented together with several contexts where the feature may be used.
