The mobility offered in the cellular mobile communication networks introduces new challenges to the teletraffic engineers and professionals who are responsible for design, planning and dimensioning the network's capacity. Through mobility models the teletraffic engineers try to foresee and to evaluate the traffic generated due to user mobility, in order to minimize the implementation and maintenance network costs, and to maximize the quality of service offered to end users. It is therefore clear that mobility models are a framework of extreme importance in the design and planning of cellular mobile communications networks. This paper shows some numerical results related to the computation of mobility parameters and most importantly presents a simulator that uses a new mobility model of users for cellular mobile communications networks.
