From the Publisher:Health and medical informatics encompass a broad field that is rapidly developing in both its research and operational aspects. The discipline has many dimensions, including social, legal, ethical, and economic. The wide variety of platforms, data, applications, and users poses an enormous challenge to information technology management in health care.
