Abstract

Assessment of the reliability of a software product is a key element in the decision to release the product. As with hardware, a theoretical model and related metrics exist that can be practically applied to estimate the software reliability of a product prior to its release. The methods used to evaluate software reliability for Hewlett Packard terminals are presented in this paper.
