Abstract

From the Publisher:Computer-Aided Design is intended to produce knowledgeable users of CAD systems and motivate the reader to explore the 'edge of the envelope' of performance and capability. Dean Taylor presents the fundamentals of computer aided design, showing the analytical rigor and algorithmic nature, independent of specific software implementation. A wide variety of design projects based on real situations and realistic numbers are presented at the ends of chapters, including a related series of projects on sailboat design which is carried throughout the book.
