Abstract

From the Publisher:This book is a comprehensive engineering guide that enables you to use fuzzy logic on your next project. You can actually adapt the code in this book (and on the diskette) to your product's needs. You will learn how to design, build, and fine-tune a fuzzy system using our systematic approach to the fuzzy engineering process. Each step is illustrated through in-depth, practical examples, including the inverted pendulum featured in FuzzyLab. We provide a fuzzy kernel in C that can be compiled for a variety of microcontrollers. The object-oriented design and C++ implementation are presented in their entirety and then analyzed so you don't have to guess how the pieces fit together. A comprehensive appendix points you to many other resources you can use. The diskette contains all of the source code presented in the book, including the fuzzy engine used by FuzzyLab. It also contains FuzzyLab, and a card entitling you to free registration.
