We consider how to cheaply compute an incomplete Cholesky decomposition of symmetric perturbed matrices $C=\epsilon I +A$ with a small $\epsilon$ when knowing an incomplete decomposition of $A$. Numerical examples are provided that show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
