Abstract

Because it is time-dependent, parallelcomputation is fundamentally different from sequentialcomputation. Parallel programs are non-deterministic andare not effectiveprocedures. Given the brain operates in parallel, thiscasts doubt on AI‘s attempt to make sequential computersintelligent.
