Lexical ontologies have proven a very useful tool for natural language processing, specially where some semantic analysis is necessary. One of the most widely used is WordNet [Miller, 1995]. In this work, we describe an implementation of WordNet that extends its initial functionalities, and which is directly accessible from APL2. The interface is very simple, as only a few functions and one operator are sufficient to use all the capabilities of WordNet.
