In this paper, the convergence property of the inexact Uzawa algorithm for solving symmetric indefinite linear systems is studied. A simple sufficient condition for the convergence of the inexact Uzawa algorithm is obtained. Two examples and numerical experiments illustrating the conclusion are provided.
