It is well known that a perceptroncannot be used to implement the XOR function but thata feed forward network with some hidden neurons can.The purpose of this work is to show that a Hopfieldstyle network can also be used to implement the XORfunction. It is shown here that the XOR function canbe implemented in a Hopfield style network using onlytwo hidden neurons.
