Abstract

This study derives the density function of the code clock offset between twomobile stations in acellular IS-95 CDMA system. Each mobile station is assumed to be synchronizedwith the cell's basestation clock to within the tolerance specified by the IS-95 CDMA standard. The analysis presentedis useful when considering direct mobile-to-mobile communication withoutintervention by the basestation. Simulation results are presented that validate the theoreticalresults.
