Abstract

This paper suggests a new approach to the computerisation of Materials & Production Management. The paper starts by taking a sample situation which arises in an industry and describes a methodology by which better solution can be obtained. This paper essentially talks about the application of Expert Databases to Materials & Production Planning and an overview of the computational techniques needed.
