Abstract

In this note we present a solution to the tomographic reconstruction problem using the method of maximum entropy in the mean. When there are no convex constraints on the solution, the Hilbert setup combined with a Gaussian a priori measure on the Hilbert space yields solutions which resemble back projections or reconstructions by ridge functions.
