Abstract

In [1], Chaudhuri and Rosenfeld defined a metric distance between non-empty fuzzy sets which reduces to the Hausdorff distance when the sets are crisp. Their definition breaks down for constant fuzzy sets. This note shows how to modify the definition to handle the constant case.
