Abstract

This investigation presents a novel method of addressing learning and IP recognition for Internet applications. A PBHC is proposed to be used for design and implementation of a 100 Mbps Ethernet switching hub controller. Based on our simulation results, the PBHC has a large capacity for pattern pair storage and impressive performance in address learning and IP recognition.
