Abstract

The technologies of the Internet and data warehousing are converging. This paper explores the synergies of these two revolutionary technologies. The strategic importance of data warehousing is presented through an examination of the applicable technology, growth of the market, and the factors encouraging that growth. The convergence of data warehousing technology and the Internet is discussed and strategic implications for modern businesses are addressed.
