Abstract

In this paper, we first introduce the concepts of mobile agent technology, and then look at some related research on mobile agent technology. Mobile agent technology is introduced as a solution for the critical problem of limited bandwidth we face nowadays, and its autonomy characteristic helps solve the problem of inability of the system administrators to stand by 24 hours a day. Next we study the issues related to security testing. In addition, we link these issues to today's websites, and study how we can examine the security functionalities of websites. Finally, we combine the verdicts from different sections of this paper and produce the framework of a mobile agent for testing website security. We also discuss the expected output.
