Abstract

This paper describes an approach to adapting Web content based on both static (e.g., connection speed) and dynamic information (e.g., CPU load) about a user's computing resources. This information can be transmitted to a Web Server in two different ways. XML is used so that there is one copy of the content, but multiple presentations are possible. The paper describes an architecture, prototype and initial results.
