Abstract

In this paper, we describe a software system for learning graph-based reasoning. The system is designed for learning Peircean graphs in an interactive fashion that allows each student to proceed in his or her own pace. The student may use the built-in exercise library working from easy exercises towcirds harder ones, or may work at exercises of his or her own choice. The system has been successfully tested by a number of first-year students. Our software system comes in two versions: One for reasoning within prepositional logic and one for reasoning within the modal logic S5.
