A novel efficient multiple-searching genetic algorithm (MSGA) is presented for constructing minimum-cost multicast trees with delay constraints. In order to have computers successlly become consumer electronics for multimedia multicast communication applications, we propose a novel multimedia multicast routing approach for the large scale network in this paper. According to our simulation results, the computation cost of our proposed method can reduce much more than the other existing GA's.
