Abstract

Mobile commerce (m-commerce) has become much more common in recent years. However, it still has a lot of limitations. In this paper, we propose an agent-based system for enhancing the mobile commerce services, which are automated by comparing multiple information sources from different providers based on user preferences and via the assistance of mobile agents. Through the organization and collaboration among various agents, the system exhibits a distinct feature whereby the fulfillment of user requests can be propagated through a few layers. The design of a WAP application for the travel industry is also outlined herein.
