We shortly describe a software prototype allowing the cooperation between several Maple processes running on different processors of a cluster. Two examples, a graphical one, and another which is concerning with the numerical solution of a large mathematical problem, sustain the idea of an improvement of Maple's capabilities to deal with intensive computational problems.
