Abstract

While large volumes of relevant educational resources are available currently online, almost all existing resources have been designed for relatively large screens and relatively high bandwidth. Searching for the proper interface to access multiple resources from a mobile computer we have selected an approach based on self-organized hypertext maps. This paper presents our approach and its implementation in the KnowledgeSea system. It also discusses the ongoing work on using our approach with very narrow screens of Palmlike devices.
