Abstract

Network Object, Interface Object, Logic Object and Virtual Object Registry are the building blocks for Distributed Object Technologies (DOT). Their common goal is to provide consistent user interface to access heterogeneous network data in a collaborative computing environment. This paper introduces the basic architecture for different components of the DOT and addresses future challenges.
