Abstract

In all kinds of software developments, from mass-marketed to heavy duty, one major concern is whether model based software development can attain business goal surrounding systems project or not. This paper first reveals that business affairs often become major factor in business and industrial alina as their own goal to attain. I also discuss how "hinagata"-based software development can meet those needs, especialy quality sub goal. My answer is "no". The reason is even if you can attain a given quality goal, still you will not always be able to get business succsess. Indeed, you must define "quality" as an ultimate goal which your organization should accomplish and let "quality" be equivalent to those what your business goal means. Key thing is which goal is higher setting. In most companies, business goal is higher setting than quality. The key issue is why you do not try to attain the business goal as an ultimate.
