Abstract

We propose to face unpredicted requirements within OODB evolution problematic. We point to a designer having to cope with important and bulky OODB. We propose a simulation tool to help him to express new changes not directly on classes but on involved instances. The idea is to help him by proposing best ways of evolution, by provoking emergence of new adapted abstractions according to structural evolution of instances, and by analyzing these emergent abstractions by using metrics.
