Abstract

Abstract: The Stick-Ons concept as a tool for local versioning in collaborative writing is re-examined. A logical consistency case concerning its use is presented. Then, the design of a system including Stick-Ons is discussed. One of the main objectives of this system is to be of practical use. Therefore, it is built on top of Microsoft Word, a popular word processing application. Details of the current prototype are given. The prototype is briefly compared with other writing tools concerning collaborative features.
