In web based environments it is essential to make the best possible use of what little information is available about a customer. That is why so many companies are trying to collect as much data from their customers during a visit on their web sites as possible. This data becomes even more valuable when combined with the audit trail of the logistics chain behind the web site. This paper describes an approach for applying Fuzzy techniques to the analysis of such audit trails with the goal of creating rules for better predicting customer behavior.
