Abstract

The historical evolution of all the patients admitted to a hospital is a source of information that can be studied with intelligent data analysis methods. The transitions of the patients between the hospital services can be represented by a graph structure that is modified to reflect only the interesting information and also to represent the possible behaviour of a concrete patient. The hospital intelligent system HISYS1 incorporates a filtering and an adaptation stages to achieve these activities.
