Abstract

Knowledge and intelligence are phenomena we find in nature, usually attributed to men and women. From a scientific viewpoint, we do not know what is the nature of knowledge and intelligence. We know that it has to do with the brain, but we do not know yet how a brain has knowledge and has intelligence. There are also tests abd exams to assess intelligence and knowledge, in terms of IQ and scores; this is accepted as the best way to carry a great test on knowledge and intelligence to all of us. We properly may ask: What is knowledge? What is intelligence? Engineering also tries to build artificial devices that have knowledge and intellingence, but a suitably methodology is not yet available. This methodology should somehow set knowledge and intelligence as requirements, provide models of knowledge and intelligence, and then an assessment method in order to verify the requirements were accomplished. Precisely this is not the state of the art.
