We offer a new operational model of agents, which focuses on the interaction of agents with each other and with a dynamic environment. We abstract from the inner workings of agents by offering a definable mental lexicon and a flexible cycle of sensing, reasoning and acting. The model incorporates a truly concurrent semantics for physical action, observation, communication and events. The dynamic world and events which can occur in it are explicitly modelled, and actions have a duration. Due to these features, the models offers a realistic view on interacting agents.
